Thread Lifting

A Threat lift is a cosmetic procedure that uses absorbable sutures positioned under the skin that lifts/tightens sagging skin. Overtime the procedure also helps with the production of collagen. This process continues until the thread is completely reabsorbed by the skin.

The procedure is performed in clinic (takes about an hour), using local anaesthetic and does not require any incision. The main areas that benefit from anchoring threads are jowls, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and the neck.

Post procedure care

• Apply cold packs immediately after the procedure

• Refrain from applying make-up for as long as possible (minimum 24 hours)
• Avoid over-exposure to direct sunlight ( 2 weeks)
• Avoid face/neck messages and facial aesthetic treatments (4 weeks)
• Avoid sports and high intensity exercises (2 weeks)
• Do not use hot rooms/saunas ( 3 weeks)
